Conscious Connected Breathwork is a potent additional tool for addiction recovery because it addresses the physiological and emotional roots of dependency that traditional talk therapy sometimes can’t reach.
For those new to the practice, the introductory group offers a guided, supportive environment to explore the power of the breath. We begin by discussing the science and technique, preparing you for the physical and emotional sensations that may arise. From there, you’ll transition into an active breathing journey. Lying comfortably to a curated musical soundtrack, and following a conscious connected breathwork pattern supported by skilled facilitators that may use acupressure and affirmations. The session concludes with a period of integration and rest, allowing the breath to return to normal. This is where any insights and shifts land deeply within your body. There will be aftercare support offered.
